Kickin' It Old Skool Blog-A-Thon #2

Today Jamie and Shannon ask us to make a digital Time Capsule and capture this moment in time.

What are you reading? Interview with the Vampire at the moment, but feel free to check out my Goodreads to keep up with everything I read!

What are you watching? As many Christmas specials as ABC will show! (It's the only channel we get in good.)

What are you listening to? NPR or Christmas music!

What are you loving? Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane tea, spending time with my family, getting back in the habit of daily gratitude posts...

What are you wearing? PJs! (It's been one of those days...)

What are you creating? I have several paintings in progress and have been trying to draw everyday too!

What are you looking forward to? the whole holiday season!

  1. Every day - as soon as I get through the door - after teaching, I get into my jammies. After the stress of the day, sometimes, the only thing that works is jammies. Which reminds me, it's time to start looking for my Christmas jammies. (I give myself a new pair each for Christmas)

I haven't quite gotten into the Christmas music yet - this weekend, I think.

    1. Yes! I'm subbing for a TA this week and I have some challenging students. I was ready for the holiday music mid-November, but our daughter said we had to wait until AT LEAST the 25th! I started them on the 24th since it was only a month to Christmas Eve! ~_^

  2. I'm an NPR fan, too!
Love that you paint every day! Doing something artistic every day is one of my goals. Not quite there, yet.

    1. I think if you're doing henna most days, that can certainly count as doing something artistic! Gorgeous image in your icon! ^-^

  4. I had forgotten about Celestial Season Candy cane tea! My daughter loved that as a kid. I'll have to grab a box and put it in her stocking for christmas. Thanks for the reminder!

    1. I am always sad when we use the last tea bag from the last box and I have to wait MONTHS for them to come back out. I've tried all kinds of other teas but nothing is as good.
