Every Spring, people buy cute fluffy baby rabbits for Easter presents, and before the end of summer many of them have been left at shelters or abandoned in the wild. Rabbits are not low-maintenance pets, and are often more work than a dog or cat. If you're considering giving a rabbit this Easter, please visit the sites below and make sure you are prepared for the commitment. If you decide you really do want a rabbit, wait a few weeks to be sure, then contact your local shelter or HRS chapter to find a nice match. ReplyDeleteYes, you are right I have had two 'house' rabbits in the past and although they are sweet wonderful pets they do take work and lots of attention; they can do lots of damage indoors. But my...they are adorable. Thank you for stopping by to visit. Have a happy day!
