This morning's project!

ATCs for a pagan swap!

I rounded the corners and then stamped random celestial-themed images on the cards. Then I rubbed the edges with my walnut ink to make them look a little aged. I'm still figuring out how to use that stuff, but I think it looks ok... I had already printed out the poem on some printed paper, which I then tore out, chalked the edges a bit, and glued them on. Then I added the flowers and beads (OMG, I *so* need mroe Diamond Glaze!) and finished them off with some glitter! ^_^

I'm getting better! Pretty, n'est-ce pas?

Today's projects...

First, Jacqueline's crock pot recipe page...

Then mine...

Then I made this LO using a sketch from a challenge at one of my scrapping groups (click for full size)...

It'll be in this set (click for full size)...

I've been sent to the corner...

Look! It's Christopher Walken! Only he's not walkin'! He's dancin'!

Time out for bad puns... XD

Two more!

I am so proud of how much she writes! ^_^

Freeganism: How to Get Started (She's found some very interesting topics to write about!)

Curves Review: Not for the Severely Obese (Yep, we've found some pretty glaring problems if you're severely obese and want to join Curves...)

WOW!

I meant what I said about Jacqueline being a busy writer and AC publishing them all at once!

My Vacation Week Thus Far

Yesterday was Hump Day and the downward slide to the weekend has begun. While to some this is a good thing (those who had work this week and are off on the weekend), for me it means the end of my vacation. Yes, I would have rather been working this week because we need the money, but since the schools are all closed, I have been determined to enjoy my forced time off.

I have watched movies, cleaned out the closet & my dresser, and am making progress cleaning off my desk and getting rid of the boxes underneath it. I have things for sale up on craigslist and hopefully will make some extra money despite not working. I have worked out, made a Vision Board, and looked for some music I enjoyed while in Chicoutimi. I even spent some time in bed reading.

I still have more movies to watch and more organizing to do, but I will be glad to get back to work on Monday.

Crock Pot Recipe Sign Ups - CLOSED

Just an FYI that this swap has now closed.

ATCs

Well, I didn't have hardly anyone reply at all... -_- ...so everyone who commented gets a card!  ^_^

I hope you will "carry on the spirit of giving" and give away 3 What's in Your Heart? art-related pieces of your own in a similar contest.

I'll email you to verify your addresses!  Happy Creating!

Punxsatawney Phil

Well punxsatawneyphil.com and groundhog.org don't have it up yet, but Phil has made his prognostication!

From StormFax: Phil has seen his SHADOW "at 7:30 AM; 28ยบ overcast skies with the crowd cheering for more Winter."

How he saw it with overcast skies, I don't know... Must be all the paparazzi.  Hmph. Even he looks disappointed.

Can I go back to bed now?

Crock Pot Recipe Swap!

Last call for sign-ups!  I will be closing them at noon tomorrow and posting final details at that time!

Your mission:  Create an 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook page for each member of the swap of your favorite crock pot recipe.

Sign ups for this swap will be open for one week until February 2nd.  Final details will be sent at that time, including total pages to make and address to mail your pages to.

You will have until Tuesday, February 19th to pop them in the mail to me.  I will send them back out as soon as I have everyone's package.

Please remember to include a return address label and at least the same amount of postage as you needed to send your package out.  For example, if you spend $1.60 to mail your pages, drop stamps, well hidden cash, or a money order equal to or greater than $1.60 in your envie (or you can paypal it to me).  If you want your package returned priority, include enough for that.  I will of course return any unneeded postage.  I plan on using the envie you send your pages in to return your pages to you.

If you'd like to sign up, email me (off-list so we don't overload anyone's email: bunnykissd (at) gmail.com) with what your contribution will be; if there are several people wanting to do the same thing, I may request that you chose something else, but there are so many ideas floating around, I bet that won't happen!  I can't wait to see what you all create!  ^_^

Cross-posted to a few different groups...
