Oh frabjous day!
Callooh! Callay!
I realize summer is a month away,
but today's the day!
It's finally here!
Upon my plate all creamy sweet,
there lies my favorite summer treat:
Watermelon sherbet that can't be beat,
with a lemon-lime rind you can eat!
But best of all
scattered throughout
dark chocolate seeds
make me shout!
